In this episode of More Movies Weekly, Greg and Dave discuss Halloween Kills (2021), the latest instalment in the Halloween franchise, which started 43 years ago in 1978. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Anthony Michael Hall, Will Patton, Andi Matichak and Judy Greer. It was directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Danny McBride, and Scott Teems.
The nightmare isn’t over in Halloween Kills as unstoppable killer Michael Myers escapes from Laurie Strode’s trap to continue his ritual bloodbath. Injured and taken to the hospital, Laurie fights through the pain as she inspires residents of Haddonfield, Ill., to rise up against Myers. Taking matters into their own hands, the Strode women and other survivors form a vigilante mob to hunt down Michael and end his reign of terror once and for all.
They also discuss William Shatner’s recent visit to space on a Blue Origin Flight, Michael Caine’s tweet regarding rumours of his retirement that exploded online, the title of the new Spider-Verse movie, the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and the recent clip from actor Jamie Costa of his impersonation of Robin Williams and the idea of a proposed biopic on the iconic comedian.
