In this episode of More Movies Weekly, Greg and Dave have a SPOILER FREE discussion about No Time To Die (2021), the latest 007 action-adventure film directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig in his final appearance as James Bond. The movie also stars Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Ana de Armas, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Lashana Lynch and Naomie Harris.
In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
With this being the final outing for Daniel Craig in the titular role, the obvious question on everyone’s lips is who will play Bond next? So Greg and Dave discuss some of the leaks and ideas from the press and then propose how they would move forward with Bond and what their picks would be for the next 007.
Of course, now with 25 films under its belt, James Bond is one of the longest-running film series in history, with many ups and downs, many stories and changing casts as well as many Bonds, including Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and of course Daniel Craig. So, Greg and Dave go head to head and pick out their Top 5 James Bond movies of all time, an accompaniment to this week’s article where we ranked all the Bond films from Best to Worst, which you can check out here.
